Job summary

Giant Tiger in Ottawa, Ontario seeks a part-time store associate to deliver top-tier customer service, process transactions at cash registers and self-checkouts, and keep the checkout area stocked and orderly.

You will restock merchandise, adjust prices, follow loss prevention practices, and support health and safety policies. The role offers 35–40 hours weekly for full-time or up to 24 hours for part-time, with hourly pay of CAD 17.95 and store bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide high levels of customer service at all times.
• Record customer transactions accurately on cash registers, mainline, and SCOs.
• Replenish merchandise and maintain checkout area.
• Execute markdowns and SKU changes as needed.
• Maintain planograms, labels, tickets and signing standards.
• Perform cycle counts as required.
• Comply with policies when selling Tobacco and Lottery products.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and keep checkout area clean.
