Responsibilities
  • As the first point of contact, provide quick and professional product information to customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly in person, by phone, or email
  • Prepare quotes for small urgent orders
  • Research products in catalogs and online as needed
  • Ensure all items are available for the customer according to the order and schedule
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Proactively restock the counter area as needed
  • Assist in the warehouse if required
Qualifications
  • Previous technical experience in sales or customer service within wholesale or distribution sectors
  • In-depth knowledge of tools
  • Knowledge of plumbing products is an asset
  • Proficiency in general computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with AS400 system is an asset
  • Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
