What you'll do:

• As the first point of contact, provide quick and professional product information to customers
• Respond to customers promptly in person, by phone, or email
• Prepare quotes for small urgent orders
• Research products in catalogs and online as needed
• Ensure all items are available for customers according to their orders and schedules
• Build and maintain good relationships with customers and colleagues
• Initiate restocking near the counter as needed
• Load and unload products timely to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
• Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy
• Quickly organize products in appropriate warehouse areas
• Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders, including shipping documentation
• Coordinate with transportation companies and internal/external customers to prioritize shipments
• Maintain safety and maintenance procedures in the shipping area

What you will bring:

• Previous technical experience in sales or customer service within wholesale or distribution sectors
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing (a plus)
• General computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with AS400 system is a plus
• Exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
