Walmart Canada is seeking a Bakery Associate to provide exemplary customer service and maintain the Bakery Department's quality and appearance. You will stock, sign, and price merchandise while following food safety and sanitation procedures and cold-chain controls.

The role includes preparing bakery items per thawing and baking guidelines and ensuring displays are secure and properly signed. The position starts at a minimum hourly rate of $19.05.

• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Follow procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepare bakery merchandise by thawing and baking as directed to maintain quality and appearance.
• Ensure displays are secured safely.

What You'll Do

• Ensures the merchandise is properly signed and priced.
• Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
• Adheres to food safety and handling procedures and following sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for; Ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Prepares bakery merchandise by accurately following thawing and baking guidelines to ensure the quality and visual appearance of Bakery Department merchandise, such as bread, cakes, pies, cookies, and rolls.
• Ensures all displays are secured in a safe and proper manner.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $19.05.
