Newfoundland and Labrador Credit Union is seeking an Associate Wealth Management Advisor to service Corner Brook and Stephenville. You will provide objective financial guidance, develop investment plans and insurance solutions for members, and grow relationships with existing and new clients.
Ideal candidates hold a post-secondary degree or diploma, may have or be willing to obtain a Financial Planner designation, and must hold a valid Life License (LLQP) and CIRO License.

We have an open position for a full time, permanent Associate Wealth Management Advisor servicing the West Coast (Corner Brook and Stephenville Branches).

As an Associate Wealth Management Advisor, you will provide objective advice and develop investment plans and insurance solutions for NLCU members. You will identify business opportunities, establish members’ financial objectives, and gather, process and analyze relevant information to develop members’ investment and insurance solutions. The Associate Wealth Management Advisor also gathers members’ assets and liabilities with the aim of consolidating them with NLCU and our partners.
Through establishing, developing and maintaining long term, full service relationships with existing members, as well as the solicitation of new individuals and businesses, you will grow your portfolio. With a positive member experience being top priority, you will provide specialized expertise in aspects of financial planning, including recognizing and referring members and potential members to branches to expand members’ total relationship with NLCU for lending, deposit, and other related products/services.
To be successful in this role you have experience in financial services. You hold a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma (or equivalent), have completed or are willing to complete a Financial Planner designation and hold a valid Life License (LLQP) and CIRO License.
