What is this opportunity?

RBC Dominion Securities Branch located in West Vancouver is looking for motivated individual to join an Investment Advisor Team as a licensed Associate. You will help in maintaining, developing, and growing the business by providing exceptional and efficient service by taking care of administrative duties related to client accounts and responding to client inquiries.

What will you do?

  1. Prepare and execute on client documentation for account opening.
  2. Follow up on documentation with clients or back office as required.
  3. Assist clients with online access and ensure their onboarding experience is paramount.
  4. Investigate & resolve client inquiries as well as complaints related to accounts.
  5. Maintain accurate client records and make notes on all client communications with the team.
  6. Prepare client review packages and manage all required client communication.
  7. Maintain website content, marketing campaigns, client communication campaigns, client events, client appreciation.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  1. CSI Canadian Securities Course/CSI Conduct and Practices strongly preferred.
  2. A desire to be part of a collaborative team that pursues excellence through continuous learning and improvement.
  3. Batteries included. Self-starter with the ability to manage work and deadlines based on priorities.
  4. Proactive communication that is clear and concise.
  5. Detail oriented and accurate.
  6. Recognize the value of systems and processes and participate in their innovation and improvement.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal and client service skills in person and over the phone.
  8. Ability to integrate the digital world into all facets of the role and interactions with clients.
  9. Excellent command of the English language, strong written and oral English skills, with accurate grammar.

Nice-to-have

  1. University degree is an asset but not required.
  2. Experience in the financial industry as an asset but not required.
  3. Handbook Course is an asset.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable incentive payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals; market conditions; and business needs.

The expected base salary range for this position is [$37,500 - $50,000].

This position may be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable incentive payment up to 1.5x base salary.
