Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Sort, stack, and organize materials in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure that materials are stored securely to prevent damage or accidents.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by conducting regular cycle counts.
    • Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to identify discrepancies and investigate the root causes.
    • Restock materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Pick materials and products from storage locations to fulfill customer orders or production demands.
  • Pack and prepare materials for shipment, ensuring they are labeled correctly and securely packaged.
  • Coordinate with shipping and receiving teams to meet order deadlines.
  • Quality Control:
    • Inspect materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies upon receipt.
    • Report any damaged or low-quality materials to supervisors.
    • Ensure that materials are handled and stored in a manner that maintains their quality.
  • Safety Compliance:
    • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when operating equipment and handling materials.
    • Report safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize safety risks.
  • Equipment Maintenance:
    • Conduct routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment and report any malfunctions.
    • Ensure that equipment is used and stored properly to prolong its lifespan.
  • Communication:
    • Communicate effectively with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and team members to coordinate tasks and resolve issues.
    • Report inventory discrepancies or shortages to appropriate personnel.
  • Efficiency and Productivity:
    • Strive to improve warehouse efficiency by suggesting process enhancements or optimizations.
    • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve productivity goals.
  • Process RMA kits provided to customers for return of CPE items.
  • Assist in the screen and clean process for returned CPE items.
  • Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional certifications).
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of basic inventory management principles.
  • Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling materials.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • ERP or WMS experience is strongly preferred.
  • Safety-conscious with a commitment to following safety guidelines and protocols.
