Oakpark Pet Hospital, a leading veterinary care facility located in the heart of Oakville, Ontario, is seeking an Associate Veterinarian passionate about preventive, wellness, and diagnostic medicine. We are looking for a collaborative and skilled veterinarian committed to providing exceptional care and building strong relationships with clients and patients.

Our hospital is fully equipped with services including wellness medicine, diagnostic imaging, dental x-ray, CT scans, cryo surgery, ophthalmic and orthopedic surgeries, endoscopy, laparoscopy, airway surgery, and more. While we have a highly skilled surgical team, this position is ideal for a veterinarian who prefers to focus on medical cases rather than surgery. Our professional staff understands the importance of the human-animal bond, offering high-caliber medical care and loving attention to pets.

Job Responsibilities
  • Build rapport with clients by gathering information, listening, and empathizing with their concerns.
  • Perform physical examinations and diagnostic procedures that deliver high-quality care while minimizing stress and discomfort.
  • Communicate with clients about diagnosis, treatment plans, preventive care, and nutrition.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and logs following established protocols.
  • Stay current with new medical information and veterinary advancements.
  • Represent the hospital positively within the professional community and the public.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve success.
Skills and Basic Qualifications
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in Ontario.
  • Commitment to high standards of medicine and veterinary ethics.
  • Ideally two years of experience; open to new graduates.
