TD Wealth Private Wealth Management in London, Ontario, is seeking an Associate Trust Officer to combine legal, estate, or trust experience with the TD Wealth depth. You will manage a select portfolio, engage with high-net-worth clients and families, and develop expertise in estate and trust administration.

With 2+ years in trust or related fields, you’ll work with senior Trust professionals, attend client meetings, and grow toward a Trust Officer role within a supportive, client-focused TD

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma preferred.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Private Trust or estate work.
  • CETA completed or in progress is a strong asset.
  • TEP completion or interest is an asset.
  • Strong client and relationship-management skills.

Pay Details: $59,500 - $84,000 CAD.

Job Description

TD Wealth Private Wealth Management works with high-net-worth individuals and families to help them protect, manage, and transition their wealth across generations. Within Private Trust, our professionals become trusted partners to clients during some of the most important and complex moments in their lives. As an Associate Trust Officer, you’ll have the opportunity to combine your legal, estate, trust, or client-service experience with the depth and reach of TD Wealth. You’ll work alongside experienced Trust professionals, manage your own select portfolio, participate in client conversations, and build expertise in estate and trust administration. For someone coming from a paralegal, law clerk, estate administration, or Private Trust background, this role offers an opportunity to take that experience further, develop direct relationships with high-net-worth clients and families, and build toward a future Trust Officer position.

What You’ll Do
  • Administer a select portfolio of estate, trust, and agency accounts.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, families, beneficiaries, and co-trustees.
  • Work alongside experienced Trust professionals on increasingly complex client matters.
  • Participate in client meetings and develop practical expertise in trust and estate solutions.
  • Anticipate client needs and connect clients with broader TD Wealth expertise where appropriate.
  • Deliver a consistently high-quality, personalized client experience.
  • Support the retention and growth of Private Trust relationships.
  • Identify and appropriately escalate complex or higher-risk matters.
  • Maintain strong operational, regulatory, and risk-management practices.
What You Bring
  • Undergraduate degree or College diploma preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, which may included: Private Trust, estate administration, paralegal, law clerk, or similar experience.
  • Certificate in Estate and Trust Administration (CETA) - Completed or pursuing considered strong asset, but not required.
  • Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) - completion, pursuing, or interest in pursuing considered an asset.
  • Strong client and relationship-management skills.
  • An interest in developing deeper expertise in trusts, estates, and intergenerational wealth planning.

The workplace model is 5 days in the office.
