We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Associate, Technology Investment. In this role, you will work closely with the Investment team and play a key role in conducting due diligence on potential investments in our focused sectors in Data/Cloud Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning fields. You will be responsible for evaluating technology trends, assessing market opportunities, and evaluating the technical feasibility of potential investments. Additionally, you will help build Sixty Degree Capital’s marketing initiatives and organize community events in cities such as Toronto, San Francisco, and New York City.

About the role:

1. Conduct due diligence on potential investments, including assessing the technical feasibility of products and technologies, analyzing market trends and competitive landscape, and identifying key risks and challenges.
2. Evaluate potential investments and perform comprehensive research on target markets, industry trends, and regulatory considerations.
3. Develop and maintain deep connections within the Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning industry to identify and engage with top KOLs for reference calls.
4. Maintain Sixty Degree Capital’s brand assets such as website and marketing channels (LinkedIn, Blog, Podcast, etc.).
5. Organize Sixty Degree Capital’s community events focusing on founders, corporate executives, and venture capital investors.
6. Work collaboratively with the Investment team to develop investment recommendations and present findings to senior management.

About the successful candidate:

3. Previous experience in VC, IB, or Management Consulting is preferred.

5. Proven experience in conducting technical due diligence and evaluating technology products and services.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and assess key risks and challenges.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present findings and recommendations to senior management.
8. Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
