You will be responsible for inspecting and assembling lenses in preparation for various types of AR treatments according to established procedures (SOPs) and applying treatments based on received indications and production standards.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday day shift but may change depending on operational needs, potentially requiring work on weekends and holidays. You may need to work different hours initially for training purposes.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Prepare vacuum equipment according to a checklist and ensure proper operating conditions for the vacuum coating machine.
  2. Sort lenses for necessary coating application based on SOP.
  3. Follow SOPs related to the coating process.
  4. Clean, mount, and prepare lens batches using high-intensity lamps.
  5. Load batches of lenses and necessary materials for evaporation.
  6. Operate and monitor the vacuum machine to maintain continuous flow within standard times.
  7. Communicate equipment conditions and processes to the supervisor.
  8. Unload the vacuum coating machine and transfer to the downloading station.
  9. Perform spectro-analysis on each batch using the SMR system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Job experience may substitute for a high school diploma or GED.
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Ability to meet measurable standards in a dynamic production environment, with good depth perception, fine motor skills, and manual dexterity.
  • Attention to detail and precision.
  • Autonomous, timely, and a team player.
  • Ability to walk/stand for the entire shift.
  • Adaptability to change.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities.
  • Regularly lift up to 10 pounds.
