Associate Structural Engineer - Building Safety

Sidcup, Kent

£60k-£70k

Are you an ambitious Chartered Structural Engineer with an interest in buildings safety? Could you be interested to join this multi disciplinary engineering consultancy at their office in Sidcup, Kent, to lead and assist in the development of their team delivering structural engineering inspections and reports for building safety cases?

The firm has over 100 staff and their sectors include rail, buildings, marine, transport, housing, local government, and many others. They are very varied in their workload.

The role will be to work with the Director to expand the client portfolio while managing the growth and overseeing the technical delivery of the existing team. The current buildings structures team has around 10 staff. You should be experienced in a wide range of buildings structures design, including visiting sites, making observations, and providing written advice. You must have good experience and understanding of robustness and progressive collapse. Experience of assessments and remedial works of Large Panel systems is preferable.
