We are hiring Associate Sales Operations Analysts to support a team of experts who help Canonical's sales teams achieve their business goals. The Sales Operations team focuses on continuous process and data quality improvement to ensure accurate order processing. The successful candidate will be collaborative, proactive in improving team workflows, maintaining compliance, and governance.

The role's success is measured by increasing deal velocity and the quality of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data used for business decisions. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented problem solver and team player who is passionate about partnering with sales teams and about Canonical's role in expanding open source technology to a broader audience. They will support programs to enable Canonical's continued success.

Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.

The responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting all aspects of day-to-day sales operations globally
  2. Verifying opportunities for accuracy and provisioning orders upon successful deal closure
  3. Supporting sales data quality and process improvements alongside Sales Operations Analysts and Managers
  4. Assisting the sales team with CRM and other sales systems
  5. Delivering sales metrics, dashboards, and ad-hoc analytical tasks
  6. Helping automate and streamline the Lead to Order process

What we are looking for:

  • An excellent academic record from high school and university
  • Experience in entry-level sales operations or related roles (e.g., financial or sales analysis, order processing), preferably in tech
  • An energetic, thoughtful, systematic approach aimed at scalable outcomes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels globally
  • Excellent communication skills across team boundaries
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for up to two weeks
