About the Role

We are a national financial services firm seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Associate, Revenue and Billing to join our Finance team. This position plays a key role in executing billing operations, supporting revenue reporting, and identifying trends that drive business decisions. Reporting to the Director, Revenue and Billing, this role offers a strong opportunity for growth within a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on financial excellence and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately calculate, set up, and generate fixed and asset-based advisory fee invoices per client agreements.
  • Manage the monthly recurring billing process from start to finish.
  • Respond to internal and external billing inquiries with clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Retirement Investment Advisors, to resolve billing issues.
  • Conduct monthly variance analysis for accounts with notable changes or inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with the Cash Application team to research and resolve complex payment matters.
  • Support collection efforts on outstanding invoices.
  • Provide data analysis and ad hoc reporting as requested.
  • Contribute to identifying process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
  • Monitor client revenue trends and behaviors, providing insights into key drivers.
  • Assess the impact of changes such as pricing updates or seasonal shifts on revenue.
  • Offer data-informed recommendations to support business decisions.

Qualifications & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • 2+ years in a corporate finance, FP&A, or revenue-focused role.
  • Prior experience with billing processes or financial operations is a plus.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Zoom).
  • Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and Microsoft Access preferred.
  • Experience with workflow/project management platforms such as Monday.com is a bonus.

This is a remote, full-time position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (local time), with flexibility based on business needs and manager approval. The role involves sitting at a desk, reviewing documents, using digital tools, and communicating via phone and video platforms.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $77,000 to $90,000, depending on experience, location, and qualifications. The company also offers discretionary bonus opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan contributions, and paid time off.
