Position: Associate Project Manager

Employment Type: Permanent

Compensation: Salaries typically range from $63,894 to $85,194 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus a performance-based incentive.

Location: EDC operates in a hybrid work environment, requiring employees to work in the office 2 days per week (subject to change). Roles can be performed from Ottawa headquarters or from Community Hubs in Toronto, Mississauga, Montreal, Brossard, Laval, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax, or Vancouver. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.

Team Overview

The Associate Project Manager supports initiatives within EDC’s transformation delivery portfolio, reporting to the Manager, Enterprise Project Management. The role involves planning, executing, and finalizing cross-functional workstreams, collaborating with sponsors, initiative owners, and teams to deliver outcomes aligned with enterprise strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project planning, execution, and stakeholder communication
  • Manage stakeholder relationships, including vendors and external partners
  • Coordinate resources, manage project costs, and develop detailed project plans
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Ensure project milestones are met and communicate progress effectively
Qualifications
  • Minimum two years of project management or coordination experience, preferably with technology projects
  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Project Management, or related field
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Planview, MS Office)
  • Knowledge of predictive and waterfall project delivery frameworks
Preferred Attributes
  • Bilingual in French and English
