We are seeking a detail-oriented Associate Project Lead to join our Design Department at our Springfield, Manitoba Head Office. This role supports projects from early development through construction documentation, turning creative concepts into precise, buildable designs. The ideal candidate will work closely with Project Leads and consultants to ensure coordinated, high-quality deliverables while managing multiple tasks efficiently. What You Will Do:

Construction Documentation & Coordination Support Project Leads under the Studio/BIM Manager to produce architectural construction documents and coordinate with internal and external consultants for fully integrated drawings and specifications.

Construction Support & Administration Assist with construction administration tasks including managing RFIs, reviewing shop drawings, issuing site instructions, and processing change notices.

Interior Design Coordination Collaborate with the in-house interior design team to coordinate project amenities and interior design scopes.

Permitting & Close-Out Support the project team through permitting, approvals, and final occupancy processes.

Architectural Collaboration Work closely with architects to ensure drafting services and contract documents meet architectural standards and are consistent across projects.

Quality Assurance Maintain high standards of design quality and technical accuracy throughout all phases.

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or architectural technology diploma
  • 3+ years in architectural/design office, with multifamily or commercial projects
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Acrobat
  • Skilled in preparing coordinated construction documents across disciplines
  • Experience with wood frame and concrete parking garage detailing is a plus
  • Knowledge of national and provincial building and energy codes
  • Experienced in project specifications and contract administration
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple deadlines
