The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics (Lazaridis School) at Wilfrid Laurier University invites applications for a tenure-stream faculty position at the Assistant level in the Marketing area, commencing July 1, 2026. Successful candidates will be expected to publish in top-tier journals in the field of Marketing. This position is subject to budgetary approval.

Qualifications:

Qualifications for this position include a Ph.D. in Marketing by the date of appointment or reasonably thereafter. This will be an entry-level position, and only those who completed their PhDs in 2023 or thereafter will be considered. We are seeking applicants with research expertise in any domain of Marketing and whose research/teaching interests include, but are not limited to Consumer Behaviour, Marketing Strategy, B2B Marketing, Brand Management, Service Marketing, Technology Marketing, and Sales.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain a productive research agenda that complements the profile of our Marketing Area.
  2. Provide effective teaching to undergraduate and MBA students, including through experiential learning methods that actively engage industry partners, and potentially in the PhD and MSc programs.
  3. Actively participate in service to the university and the profession.

The Lazaridis School of Business & Economics has over 150 full-time faculty and more than 6000 undergraduate and graduate students on campuses in Waterloo and Brantford, and a location in Toronto, Ontario.
