This opportunity is for current students seeking work experience in Fall 2025 (September - December). As an Associate Product Manager, you will assist in discovering, investigating, and building prototypes for new ideas that aim to elevate human potential through applied AI.
Build products with AltaML’s Venture Studio, which helps startups fast-track their journey from zero to one by providing technical expertise, managing operational details, and incorporating insights from our labs to deliver innovative AI products.
The product team is responsible for launching new AI products, evaluating ideas for their impact and feasibility, understanding customer pains, and identifying opportunities for AI integration to solve complex problems and differentiate in the market.
This role involves understanding customer needs, collaborating with technical teams, and helping develop product roadmaps, prototypes, and go-to-market strategies. If you have a strong desire to take ideas from concept to reality and make an impact, this role is for you.
This position is open to students enrolled at U of Alberta, U of Calgary (Masters only), Mount Royal U, U Waterloo, U of Toronto, or Queens U. As a Mitacs-funded opportunity, please inquire about eligibility. The role is hybrid, with offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, and Waterloo.
