About the team

We are looking for an Associate Product Manager to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for talent with around 5 years of experience, looking to grow and expand your skillset in the fintech industry. You can be a part of the changing landscape by building the next generation of B2B mortgage software solutions. The team is expanding and looking for smart, technical and eager self-motivators.

What you’ll be doing

1. Collaborate with team members in the design of lending solutions by providing business context and requirements, user stories and domain expertise.
2. Contribute to the development and maintenance of product related documents including solution documents, product specifications and test plans as well as sales collateral.
3. Research and analyze industry data, track trends/variances and observations to provide market, competitive and product intelligence.
4. Work collaboratively with key cross-functional departments, including sales and development among others to facilitate implementation of new products and future product releases.
5. Provide sales support, including preparation and delivery of product collateral and client presentations.
6. Complete product testing to ensure functionality meets specifications.

Who we’re looking for

1. Approximately 5 years of experience within the financial services and/or mortgage industry.
2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
3. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage short timeframes to deliver technical solutions in a growing organizational environment.
4. Proven methodical thinking and problem-solving skills and pragmatic when needed.
5. Open and adaptable, looking for a challenge and passionate about the role with determination to become an expert in our domain.
6. Flexibility to be responsive to client and internal needs, willingness to travel to client sites at short notice and the determination to get the job done.
7. The desire to build a foundation with a growing fintech company.
8. The skills to work well within a team and also independently.

You have a background in

1. Experience in requirements definition and/or software quality assurance.
2. UI/UX Design of lending software products as a Product Manager, Business Analyst or Product Analyst.
3. Implementing and/or supporting large scale lending software solutions.
4. Business tools such as Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Powerpoint, Figma and Flow charting.
