Job Description
We are looking for an Associate Product Designer to enhance the customer experience across our products. This role involves conducting research to understand customer needs, analyzing product usage and user behavior to identify improvements, and building onboarding flows and in-app messaging to enhance the user experience. The position requires a blend of marketing and technical skills, specifically applied to user experience design.
This is a full-time role in a hybrid environment (3 days in the office) based at our Scottsdale, Arizona office.
Core Responsibilities
- Utilize data from research, user testing, and market analysis to create user-centered designs.
- Use our design system and components to deliver UI that follows our interaction model.
- Drive growth and retention by leveraging our product experience platform, UserPilot.
- Identify experience gaps through various analyses, such as path analysis, to generate actionable insights.
- Analyze customer behavior through quantitative and qualitative methods, including product usage, trend analysis, usability tests, and feedback collection.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to define requirements, use cases, and user journeys.
- Create process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups to communicate design solutions.
- Optimize user onboarding and develop supplementary materials to reduce time to value for customers.
- Track metrics, interpret results, prepare reports, and identify product issues or opportunities for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase customer lifetime value.
- Perform other duties as assigned relevant to the role and company initiatives.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Graphic Design, Computer Science, or related field (strongly recommended).
Experience
- At least 1+ years’ experience designing consumer web and/or mobile experiences.
- Basic understanding of HTML & CSS fundamentals.
- Experience with Figma or similar design tools.
- Understanding of Agile development principles.
