As a senior member of the engineering team, you will frame and solve complex business problems by designing and helping deploy low-cost, efficient business processes, and providing internal consulting expertise for high-profile strategic and operational business initiatives.

Relationships :

With responsibility for projects across all North American operations.

Accountabilities :

• Leads or contributes to process redesign and internal consulting projects across the company.
• Understands business requirements through interviews and facilitated workshops with senior business and technology management.
• Brings creativity and analytical rigor to developing solutions to strategic, operational, technology, and financial issues facing business units.
• Conducts process mapping, analysis, and redesign to drive operational improvements across the organization.
• Develops and delivers presentations to senior executives.
• Builds strong cross-functional relationships with business unit management and staff.
• Will travel to North American business offices as necessary.

Qualifications :

• 5-10 years of related work experience.
• Demonstrated experience in leading extended cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated practical experience in IT or other scientific or engineering discipline.
• Experience with process and quality management methodology, e.g. Six Sigma, Lean.
• Energy or prior consulting experience would be an asset.
