ASSOCIATE POSITION – TAYLOR MACLELLAN COCHRANE
REAL PROPERTY, WILLS & ESTATES

Taylor MacLellan Cochrane proudly traces its roots in the Annapolis Valley back to 1835 when the founding Partners opened the very first law office in the Kings County Shire Town of Kentville. Since those early days, Taylor MacLellan Cochrane has become one of the largest law firms in outside of metropolitan Halifax, serving clients throughout the Atlantic Provinces with its offices in Kentville and Windsor.

Currently, we are seeking a full-time associate to join our Real Property and Wills and Estates departments of our Kentville location.

Qualifications and Experience
· Must be a member in good standing of a provincial bar and eligible for membership in the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society.
· Applicants with experience handling real property transactions, completing property migrations, drafting wills and handling estate planning and probate files will be given priority.
· Must have an eagerness to market and continually grow and develop their practice.
· Strong communication, advocacy, and dispute resolution skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
· Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships and attract new clients.
· Strong work ethic with a professional and positive attitude in their work.
