Job Description
What is in it for you:

Reporting to the Director of Portfolio Management on the Allocation Team, this Associate role provides operational support across the private asset allocation process. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about private fixed income asset classes and liability-driven investment portfolios. Responsibilities include monitoring sourcing activity, supporting new allocations, and regular trade rebalancing. The ideal candidate is inquisitive, eager to learn, detail-oriented, and capable of assisting with various requests in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do:
  • Provide operational support for executing private asset allocations in accordance with policies.
  • Prepare key rate duration profiles and currency hedging details for new private asset allocations.
  • Generate management reports on relative value and sourcing progress.
  • Oversee daily trading and quarterly/annual rebalancing activities.
  • Support senior team members on ad-hoc projects, compliance, business continuity, or audit requests.
What you will need to succeed:
  • A strong interest in investments and finance, with a university degree in Finance, Economics, or Business.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in spreadsheets and VBA.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies (e.g., Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, Morningstar).
Preferred Skills:
  • CFA designation or progress towards it.
  • 2+ years of experience in the investment industry.
  • Strong time management skills; adaptable and responsive to emerging needs.
