Introduction
The Associate Partner, Quality Engineering - Cross Industry, contributes to developing and delivering solutions based on firsthand industry experience. They understand current industry challenges and are motivated to work on a team to develop new processes and technologies to address these challenges.
As an IBM Associate Partner, you will maintain effective business relationships with the client's management team and influence the success of IGNITE Quality & Test offerings in the market. Your primary interfaces will be the IBM Consulting team (industry experts, solution owners, peers) and the client team (overall IBM account responsibility). Additionally, as a Quality & Test Leader, you will manage talent and quality, balancing capacity, efficiency, affordability, cost & price, supply & demand, utilization & growth, and resource models globally.
Your role and responsibilities
Lead the Canadian Cross Industry Sector Quality & Test Team.
Support and manage the ongoing development of the practice and lead the creation of new business opportunities, ensuring success from sales through solution design to delivery.
Lead and mentor consulting engagement pursuits, including client opportunity identification, understanding client needs, designing solutions, and managing delivery risks in collaboration with the sales team.
Oversee engagement execution by following the Delivery Roadmap, staffing project teams, assisting project leadership, reviewing deliverables, and participating in key project events to ensure delivery excellence.
Influence functional strategy and contribute to practice leadership, capability growth, and operational activities.
Required technical and professional expertise
Identify, validate, and pursue new Test opportunities.
Leverage knowledge and experience to design Test solutions aligned with client needs.
Oversee project delivery within the practice to ensure quality and client satisfaction.
Support Test project delivery as Lead Consultant or Delivery Manager.
Maintain strong relationships with the client's management team.
Additional qualifications
Experience in developing new solution offerings or methods to penetrate new markets.
Expected to generate annual new sales in the range of $5M to $10M USD.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiters to craft relevant job verbiage.
