Job description Associate Partner, Business Consulting - Financial Services
Infosys Consulting is seeking an experienced Associate Partner candidate to join the leadership team of our North American Financial Services practice.
About the Role :
As an Associate Partner, you will be responsible for growing the practice for Financial Services by partnering and managing our various clientele and enabling others to lead client engagements. You will lead strategic programs dealing with complex, industry-specific requirements, while ensuring that we continue to support the sales teams in North America. You will leverage your industry connections to open new doors for Infosys.
Responsibilities :
- Client Management, Program and Project Leadership, Practice and People Development, Business Development, and Thought Leadership.
- Consulting business development experience working with client teams, project teams to generate and sell consulting projects, including developing industry solutions within Information & Data Management, designing the sales approach, defining target client management, creating and delivering client pitches and proposals, developing sales campaigns, and managing the sales lifecycle from lead identification through closing and revenue recognition (2-4 years of experience).
- Participate in all aspects of proposal development—organizing, developing pursuits with cross-unit teams, writing high-quality proposals, and working with leaders on pricing strategies (2-4 years of experience).
- Leading and supervising project teams—mobilizing teams, managing teams in designing information management strategies & blueprints, solution design, guiding business requirements, functional and process design, prototyping, piloting, and reviewing detailed project plans.
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing consultants. Participating in firm initiatives around hiring, training, and coaching.
- Developing strong interpersonal relationships within a matrix organization.
- Interacting confidently with senior leadership in Lines of Business and IT, presenting organizational capabilities, practice credentials, value propositions, solutions, and delivering leadership in oral presentations and workshops.
- Excellent client relationship management, executive presence, and communication skills.
- Practice development including identifying impacts of data, analytics, and automation trends on client functions, identifying use cases, and staying current with industry best practices.
- Defining relevant consulting offers and solutions, leading and coaching staff, and building teams focused on Information Management.
- Knowledge of Financial Services Industry, Trends, and Practices within sub-verticals like Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, Cards and Payments, Insurance.
- Experience with transformation programs and specialization in Information Management, Data Management and Architecture, Business Intelligence & Analytics, Reporting, Dashboards, Data Governance, Big Data & Monetization.
- Strategy formulation for the practice to ensure growth and operational discipline.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; three years of experience can substitute each year of education.
- 14+ years of relevant experience, including three years in a leadership capacity.
- Experience in Big 4 or similar consulting firms.
- Industry focus in Financial Services areas like Capital Markets, Wealth Management, Asset Management, Banking.
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and judgment skills.
- Ability to work independently to meet sales and utilization targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 4 days a week.
- Candidates authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship are welcome.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Approximately 14-16+ years of combined financial services industry and consulting experience in North America.
- Minimum 2 years in business development, including lead identification, pre-sales, post-sales, and client management.
- Minimum 12 years delivering major transformation initiatives in business, operations, and technology to Fortune 500 clients.
- This role may require extensive travel.
