GENERAL FUNCTION

The Associate Optometrist is a leader, delivering the brand promise, experience, and key results through collaboration and teamwork. Ensures all patients receive the highest quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols, maximizing results, and practicing growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team. Serves as a brand ambassador, driven by passion and high standards to go above and beyond.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure executional excellence and achieve results with the MOD and store team.
  • Exceed results through strong KPI management and accountability.
  • Promote the brand as the leading optical provider in the community.
  • Collaborate successfully with all organizational leaders and local market stakeholders.
  • Prioritize patient and customer needs, delivering excellent service.
  • Strive to exceed all KPIs.
  • Provide unsurpassed patient service by ensuring staff follow the Service Process steps:
Address all patients' visual lifestyle needs
  • Make eyewear recommendations based on individual needs.
  • Explain each step of the eye exam; listen carefully to patients.
  • Use tools and visual aids to ensure patient understanding.
  • Communicate the importance of annual eye exams; schedule next appointments in TAB.
  • Conduct services according to protocols and standards.
  • Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations.
  • Build positive doctor-patient relationships.
  • Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.
  • Maintain office systems and state licensure, fulfilling Continuing Education requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members using company programs.
  • Deliver constructive feedback and foster a positive culture.
  • Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.
  • Lead by example; maintain a professional appearance and safe environment.
