The Opportunity

The Third Party Residential Underwriting Division provides underwriting expertise and services on behalf of other financial institutions to the Canadian Mortgage Broker channel. The Associate Mortgage Underwriter supports the credit decision process by reviewing documentation and applying sound due diligence, escalating issues as needed.

How You Will Contribute

• Build positive relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners
• Collect and review required documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Escalate issues and document notes within the underwriting system
• Respond to inquiries promptly and adhere to AML policies

Education/Certification/Experience Requirements

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Experience in Financial Services or Mortgage industry preferred
• Mortgage Agent Course or FSRA License is an asset

In accordance with FSRA, candidates not licensed will be registered for courses and licensed upon successful completion.
