We are hiring an Associate Mortgage Underwriter, Residential Underwriting!

Position Details

• Reporting To: Manager, Residential Underwriting
• Full-Time
• Location: Calgary, AB
• Hours: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

The Opportunity

The Associate Mortgage Underwriter supports the credit decision process by reviewing documentation and applying due diligence, escalating issues as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with mortgage brokers and external partners
• Collect and review required documentation for accuracy and compliance
• Escalate issues and document notes appropriately
• Respond to inquiries promptly and adhere to AML policies

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
• Experience in Financial Services or Mortgage industry preferred
• Proficiency in PC software and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

• Office setting with periods of high volume and tight timelines
