Job summary

Irving Shipbuilding is seeking an Associate Material Management Specialist to ensure materials are available to support production schedules and key shipbuilding programs. You will monitor inventory, analyze data, and resolve material issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 0-2 years of relevant experience, post-secondary education in a related field, and knowledge of inventory management principles. ACGP/ITAR compliance and an in-office presence are required.

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CITT, SCMP, P.Log, or PMP are assets.

Are you detail-oriented and driven by solving complex challenges? As an Associate Material Management Specialist, you'll help ensure materials are available when needed to support production schedules, customer commitments, and key shipbuilding programs.

Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).Please note this position requires a full-time, in-office presence.
