Job Details

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the accurate and efficient process of receiving, stocking, shipping, replenishment and picking of merchandise.
  • Assists with the warehouse operations as it relates to customer orders, warehouse staff, stock management, productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures compliance with all Health Canada government regulations.
  • Ensures cleanliness of the facility is maintained.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable safety policies and procedures.
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager with developing and recommending plans to improve current warehouse processes and configurations to promote efficiency.
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager with staff vacation scheduling.
  • Works with Inventory Control to ensure adequate supply of all warehouse materials and supplies are on hand at all times.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Distribution Center employees.
  • Assists the Warehouse Manager with the selection, training and performance management of warehouse employees. Tracks and monitors daily attendance and overtime.
  • Responsible for motivating and directing the work of others.
  • Must be willing to work extended hours to ensure daily production is completed.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
  • May be required to periodically cover after hour emergency call line.
  • May be required to be on standby/ on call as part of this role.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

Requires a post-secondary education in business administration, supply chain management obtained through the completion of a college or university degree program or a minimum of two year related job experience.
