Job description

Canadian Tire Corporation is looking for an Associate Manager, Store Operations to join their team in Toronto, Ontario on an 18-month contract basis. This is a high-impact role within the Best Practices team, where you'll help shape how retail operations are designed, delivered, and sustained across one of Canada's largest retail networks.

If you're the kind of person who thrives on turning complex operational challenges into clear, actionable solutions, this role is built for you. You'll work cross-functionally with Dealers, field managers, and corporate teams to build programs that improve productivity, customer experience, and store performance at scale.

About the Role: Associate Manager, Store Operations

Reporting to the Manager, Store Operations Best Practices, this position is responsible for leading the creation, sustainment, and deployment strategy of operational best practices across Canadian Tire's national store network. The role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands‑on execution — developing operational plans, tracking program performance against KPIs, and ensuring that new initiatives are adopted smoothly at the store level. Strong communication and stakeholder management are central to how this role operates day‑to‑day.

Benefits and Salary

The target salary range for this position is $68,000 to $75,000 CAD annually, depending on experience, skills, and other role‑specific factors. Canadian Tire offers competitive compensation, store discounts, access to the Triangle Learning Academy, Canadian Tire Profit Sharing, and retirement and savings programs for eligible employees. The company's enhanced flex benefits program includes mental health coverage of $5,000 per year for benefits-eligible employees and their families, along with total well-being tools and resources.
