The opportunity

Associate Manager, Patient Support Program

Reporting to the Associate Director of PSP COE, the Associate Manager, PSP will play a pivotal role in managing operational activities and shaping the development of PSP design for pre-launch programs. This dynamic position involves liaising with PSP providers, addressing their questions (including escalations), and ensuring smooth program operations. You will also be responsible for monitoring monthly KPIs, accurate and timely reporting of program data, PSP invoice processing, budget management, and overseeing the review process for various PSP documents requiring internal approval (e.g., Veeva non-promotional).

How you’ll spend your day
  • Provider Interaction: Engage with PSP providers to address operational and escalation questions, ensuring smooth program operations.
  • KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators to ensure service levels are maintained, escalate concerns to the team, and help identify areas for improvement with the PSP COE team.
  • Cost Estimation: Ensure that monthly actuals are reflected against yearly estimates and escalate variations to the PSP COE team.
  • Financial Management: Handle P.O. requests, manage invoices, track monthly financials, and recommend updates for Revised Financials (RF) in collaboration with Finance.
  • Budget Reviews: Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly PSP budget reviews, providing necessary financial insights.
  • Contract Coordination: Assist in coordinating SOW updates and renewals, ensuring contracts are up-to-date and aligned with program needs, in collaboration with the PSP COE team.
  • Brand Team Support: Act as the key PSP point of contact for designated programs.
  • PSP Analytics: Review and update reports to provide regular strategic insights based on PSP data.
  • Program Documents: Collaborate with Legal, Medical, Regulatory, and Compliance teams to review and approve PSP materials, programs, and training initiatives.
  • Pre-Launch Activities: Support pre-launch activities for new PSPs and assist in ensuring PSP launch readiness.
  • Compliance Adherence: Maintain full compliance with Teva's Code of Conduct, ethics rules, and regulations.
Your experience and qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or in Business Administration or other relevant degree; or combined education and work experience
  • Three (3)+ years of pharmaceutical experience in PSP or other relevant experience. Preferred: Pharmaceutical Industry or PSP Provider
  • Previous experience in pharmaceutical or with PSP provider an asset
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
  • Pharmaceutical industry, some provincial public and private reimbursement knowledge an asset
  • Experience in or knowledge of Patient Support Program management an asset
  • Strong ability to work cross functionally, collaborative spirit and a contribute to the PSP COE team attitude are highly desired
  • Project management and analytical abilities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills as well as good presentation skills required
  • Budget/Financial management experience
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical legal, regulatory, and medical processes are an asset
  • Bilingualism (French & English) oral and written
  • Occasional yearly travel within Canada may be required
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast pace environment
