Job summary

Position Status: Permanent Full-Time

Available: Immediately

Description of the Position:

The Associate, Leadership & Legacy Giving, will be a key member of the fundraising team, focusing on current revenue within the Leadership Giving segment. They will support mid-value donor initiatives by engaging donors through direct 1:1 fundraising and strategic marketing campaigns. Gifts in this segment typically range from $10,000 to $100,000 annually.

You will:

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of current and prospective donors, utilizing multiple channels including direct, digital, social media, phone, and in-person interactions.
  • Support efforts to re-engage lapsed donors and diverse community segments.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership & Legacy Giving team on reporting, data infrastructure, and best practices in database management; develop reports and forecasts; and contribute to analyses.
  • Maintain ongoing relationships with donors and foundations through meetings, email, and phone communications.
  • Record donor interactions and follow-up actions in the donor database.
  • Assist in developing fundraising proposals as needed.
  • Create and lead external communications, including donor updates, newsletters, and campaign materials to engage audiences.
  • Provide administrative support for the Leadership Giving Program, including gift processing, tracking, and stakeholder communication.
  • Identify, research, and qualify prospective donors through data analysis, referrals, and outreach to build a strong supporter pipeline.
  • Collaborate with teams such as Marketing, Major Gifts, Legacy Giving, Gift Administration, and Business Intelligence & IT.
