We are a well-established and busy law firm located in downtown Vancouver with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services. As our practice continues to grow, we are seeking an Associate Lawyer with experience in family law and a demonstrated interest or background in criminal law to join our team.

This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer who wants to build a well-rounded practice in both family and criminal law, with the flexibility of a remote work environment and occasional in-office collaboration. Our firm offers mentorship, support, and a competitive fee-split compensation model.

You will work on a range of matters including parenting and custody disputes, support and property division, as well as defending clients in criminal proceedings such as assault, theft, impaired driving, and other Criminal Code offences. There may also be opportunities to branch into immigration law depending on your interests.

We’re looking for a motivated and entrepreneurial individual who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused setting and is eager to contribute to the firm’s continued growth.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.
• Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia.
• 1 year of required experience in family law.
• Strong interest in both family and criminal law.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage files remotely.
• Courtroom and litigation experience is an asset.
