On behalf of our client, a large downtown law firm, we are recruiting an Associate to join the corporate commercial department.

The firm has an excellent reputation for client-focused service, a good culture, and a manageable file load. Those interested in developing their own client base can benefit from a higher bonus structure. The position is primarily in-office, with occasional remote work options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements
• Provide legal advice on business law matters
• Support clients with incorporations, reorganizations, and transactions
• Build and maintain strong client relationships

Key Competencies:

• Minimum 4 years of corporate commercial law experience
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage files independently
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Motivated to grow a practice and contribute to firm goals

At this time, we will only consider candidates in good standing with the Alberta Law Society with at least four years of experience as an Associate.
