Associate Lawyer – Banking and Complex Litigation

Kronis, Rotsztain, Margles, Cappel LLP (KRMC) is a diverse, mid-sized Toronto law firm offering services to businesses and individuals in a broad range of practice areas. KRMC is a collaborative firm which offers a collegial environment and the opportunity to work alongside experienced and highly skilled legal professionals.

We are currently seeking an Associate Lawyer to join our existing Banking and Complex Litigation practice located in the thriving uptown business district of Toronto, conveniently located above the Yonge and Sheppard subway station. The successful candidate will possess 2 to 4 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus in banking law and civil fraud matters. Experience with relevant legislation including the Bills of Exchange Act, the Construction Act, and/or the Repair and Storage Liens Act, will also be considered an asset.

The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, exceptional work ethic, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and extensive court room experience. The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the continued success of our well-established and specialized practice group, representing some of Canada’s largest financial institutions. The ideal candidate must also demonstrate a willingness to advance the growth of the firm.
