About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled and motivated family law associate to join our fully remote team. You’ll have the autonomy to manage your own files while being supported by experienced partners. Although the role is remote, the successful candidate must be available for in-person court attendances in Simcoe County, and occasional firm meetings in Simcoe County or the GTA.

What You’ll Do
  • Mentorship in managing a full family law caseload and assisting senior family lawyers with files
  • Represent clients in court (case conferences, motions, trials) primarily in Simcoe County with possible attendances in the GTA
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, affidavits, and settlement proposals
  • Provide strategic legal advice with empathy and professionalism
  • Collaborate with partners and staff in a remote but connected firm environment
What We’re Looking For
  • 1–3 years of experience in family law
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • Courtroom experience and comfort handling contested matters
  • Organized, proactive, and client-focused
  • Must reside in Ontario and be available to attend court and team meetings primarily in Simcoe County, and occasionally in the GTA
What We Offer
  • 100% remote work flexibility with support from a tight-knit team
  • Competitive salary and performance-based bonus
  • Mentorship
  • A firm culture rooted in balance, growth, and respect
