My Clients are an esteemed practice based in the Surrey region, they are looking to expand their team with an Associate Landscape Architect to join them. This is a great opportunity for an associate to help develop and grow an outstanding team at an established practice.

If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the Large scale UK residential developments and have demonstrable experience working both in the drawing office and on site, delivering projects and managing a team on projects from 5-500 units across the nation working alongside regional and national housing developers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and dedicated Landscape Architect that has experience as an Associate or a Senior ready to step into a management lead role.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leading landscape design and planning projects.
2. Overseeing the production of landscape design packages, such as masterplans, hard and soft landscape plans, detailed drawings, and Design and Access Statements.
3. Producing reports and documentation, including Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIAs), Landscape and Visual Appraisals (LVAs), and Design and Access Statements.
4. Supporting the preparation of fee proposals.
5. Coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and external consultants to ensure project success.
6. Conducting site visits and assessments to guide design development.
7. Managing a team whilst mentoring and guiding junior team members in their professional growth.

Essential Requirements:

1. Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI).
2. Minimum of 7 years' experience in landscape design and planning.
3. Strong desire to learn and grow professionally and commit to CPD.
4. A combination of creative design skills and technical capabilities.
5. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
6. Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office.
7. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
8. Proven experience working in a Senior or Associate capacity.
9. Strong leadership skills with ability to manage a team and multiple projects proficiently.
10. Confident liaising with Clients, Stakeholders and other Senior team leaders.
