Job description

We are currently recruiting for an Associate, Investor Relations in our Montréal office. We are seeking a qualified, dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our company.

Main responsibilities

Reporting to Associate Vice-President, Investor Relations, your key responsibilities will include:

Investor Engagement

Support the planning and execution of investor meetings, conferences, roadshows, and one-on-one meetings by coordinating logistics and preparing reference materials

Competitor Review

Monitor and analyze equity research reports and industry updates

Summarize key insights for senior management

Prepare conference call summaries and Q&A briefings related to the operating companies and industry peers

Quarterly Earnings

Assist in compiling and analyzing quarterly analysts’ consensus estimates throughout the earnings release cycle

Support the review and verification of quarterly investor presentations, scripts and key messages

IR Activities

Track and report on IR activities across Power Corporation, its operating companies and peers, including investor days, conference participation, and transaction announcements

Track investor feedback and incorporate into future engagements and related materials

Website

In collaboration with the Corporate communications team, maintain and update the Investors section of the company website to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information

Projects

Contribute to the development of ongoing IR projects, as required

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research or corporate finance
  • Experience in publicly traded companies and familiarity with earnings processes and disclosure requirements
  • CA, CPA and/or CFA is an asset
  • Demonstrated understanding of capital markets, sell-side and buy-side
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive in identifying opportunities to enhance investor relations efforts
  • Strong analytical and research skills with a detail-oriented mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and curiosity mindset
  • Team player that can collaborate with internal and external partners
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg/Nasdaq is preferred
  • The position requires an advanced level of oral and written French and English. The successful candidate will interact on a daily basis with representatives of the Group's various entities based in North America and Europe.
