Our Distribution team aims to lead in client engagement among Canadian Insurers, providing seamless and personalized experiences. Our knowledgeable team is committed to delivering solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

The Associate Insurance Advisor II supports and develops agency operations primarily through sales and service. This role requires broad knowledge of The Co-operators insurance products, including personal lines (auto, home), specialty lines (farm, commercial), and, if licensed, life and wealth products.

How You Will Create Impact

  • Drive sales, service, and profitable growth across personal and specialty lines products.
  • Advise clients on coverage options and policies that meet their needs.
  • Proactively prospect for new clients and recommend additional products / services.
  • Conduct risk assessments and follow underwriting guidelines.
  • Perform inspections and re-inspections as necessary.
  • Achieve personal goals in client service, sales, quality, and productivity, contributing to overall agency growth.
  • Respond to client inquiries, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Conduct regular client reviews for auto, home, farm, and commercial portfolios.

To Join Our Team

  • Hold a General Insurance license.
  • Having a Life license is an asset.
  • Meet provincial licensing requirements and maintain licenses through continuing education.
  • Preferably have at least 2 years of insurance industry experience, including sales.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of auto and property insurance and strong underwriting skills.

What You Need To Know

  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • A valid driver's license and insurance are necessary.
  • You will undergo a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check if hired.
