The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Home & Auto Insurance Specialist to join our Simcoe-based team. This role is ideal for a licensed insurance professional who enjoys building relationships and providing customized coverage solutions. You’ll be working directly with individuals and families to protect their homes, vehicles, and overall peace of mind.

What you’re responsible for:
  1. Proactively complete client reviews, focusing on the farm portfolio, and cross-selling financial advice products and services.
  2. Complete inspections as required.
  3. Participating in events to create brand awareness and developing, maintaining, and cultivating community contacts to enhance agency visibility and maximize new business opportunities.
  4. Weekly report of your successes and challenges.
  5. Provide tailored insurance advice and support to new and existing clients.
  6. Prepare accurate quotes for home and auto insurance products.
  7. Manage policy changes, renewals, and day-to-day servicing.
  8. Support clients through claims and underwriting inquiries.
  9. Build long-term relationships by delivering exceptional service.
  10. Collaborate with other team members in life, wealth, farm and commercial insurance for cross-referrals and holistic client care.
  11. Stay current on product knowledge, compliance, and licensing updates.
What to expect:
  1. You will occasionally travel to see clients, generally within the Brant/Norfolk region.
  2. You are required to have a valid driver’s license and insurance.
  3. Strict confidentiality with respect to clients' personal information.
  4. This role involves direct contact with clients and/or service providers in their environment.
  5. You will be subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check as a condition of employment, in the event you are the successful candidate.

To join our team:
  1. OTL License (preferred) OR RIBO License (required; must be willing to convert to OTL—we will support training and licensing fees).
  2. 1–3 years of personal lines insurance experience.
  3. Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  4. A passion for helping people and a proactive mindset.
  5. Comfortable with digital tools and able to navigate client systems efficiently.
  6. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Location & Schedule
