The Associate Insurance Advisor I plays a key role in supporting and developing the agency operation, primarily through sales and service of personal lines products (auto and home insurance), with potential support for additional product lines.

How you will create impact :

  1. Sales, service, and profitable growth of personal lines insurance products.
  2. Advise and recommend coverages and policies that best meet client needs.
  3. Prospect and cross-sell by identifying and recommending additional products/services beneficial to the client.
  4. Complete front-line risk assessments and selections following underwriting guidelines.
  5. Identify risks requiring inspections and re-inspections; may be required to complete inspections.
  6. Achieve individual goals for client service, sales, quality, and productivity.
  7. Support programs to build multi-client relationships.
  8. Respond to client questions and concerns, resolve complaints, and escalate issues when necessary.

To join our team :

  1. General Insurance License required or must be obtained within two (2) months (OTL).
  2. Meet provincial licensing requirements, including continuing education, to obtain and maintain licenses.
  3. One (1) year of sales and service experience or related business experience is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of auto and property insurance products and sales techniques is an asset.

What you need to know :

  1. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clients’ financial and personal information.
  2. This role involves direct contact with clients and service providers in their environment.
  3. Possession of a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, and insurance may be required.
  4. Subject to a Criminal Record and Consumer History background check upon employment.
