Job Description

We seek an Associate for our Infrastructure Investments Team at TD Asset Management (TDAM). The role involves supporting deal execution and asset management for a global infrastructure strategy with approximately $4 billion in invested and committed capital. Reporting to the Managing Director, the candidate must possess strong financial modeling skills and a good understanding of private market investments.

Responsibilities

1. Build financial models for infrastructure projects and companies; conduct industry and investment research; support financial analysis and reporting.
2. Assist in deal execution, including due diligence, preparing investment recommendations, and supporting financial modeling.
3. Support asset management activities such as interacting with management teams, preparing board materials, and ESG reporting.
4. Contribute to fund and client operations, including financial reporting and responding to client inquiries.
5. Participate in industry and company events as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in infrastructure, investment banking, private equity, or related fields.
• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills.
• Educational background in finance or engineering; CFA or similar accreditation is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally; based in Toronto.
• Knowledge of global infrastructure investing, including debt and equity structuring, legal, tax, and accounting issues.
• Excellent communication skills; additional languages are an asset.
• Team-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines and foster collaboration.
• Passion for infrastructure investing with a fiduciary mindset.
