Your Role

As an Associate, you will collaborate with a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business challenges from strategy to execution within the Infrastructure Advisory business unit.

Responsibilities

  • Provide analysis and transaction advisory services for infrastructure projects across sectors such as roads, bridges, water, hospitals, and airports, focusing on financing and procurement strategies for the public sector.
  • Develop and update financial models.
  • Conduct market research, due diligence, and review practices for infrastructure investments.
  • Support report development, industry papers, and proposals.
  • Assist in preparing business cases, proposals, and presentations, contributing to business development efforts.
  • Analyze project finance structures, instruments, and pricing.
  • Draft and review procurement documents and benchmark projects.
  • Provide advice on alternative financing methods like P3, AFP, IPD, or Alliancing, ensuring optimal risk transfer and bankability.
  • Perform due diligence and detailed analysis to develop strategies and business plans for clients.
  • Prepare reports and summaries demonstrating strong writing skills.
  • Contribute to winning proposals and client presentations.
  • Gain exposure to a diverse range of clients and infrastructure projects across Canada.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant master's degree is a plus.
  • Certifications such as CAPM/PMP, LEAN/Six Sigma are assets.
  • Security clearance or reliability status is advantageous.
  • At least 2 years of advisory experience with public/private clients.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, report writing, and analytical skills.
  • Solid financial modeling skills.
  • Experience with infrastructure sectors like transportation, buildings, or energy is desirable.
  • Knowledge of public-private partnerships and procurement models is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 CAD (approximate base salary)
