Job summary

Digital Extremes, based in London, Ontario, seeks an Associate Influencer Marketing Manager to build influencer relationships across Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok while supporting global marketing campaigns for Warframe and Soulframe.

You will develop strategic plans, manage agencies and collaborate with Community and Development teams to align messaging and drive campaign results in a fast-paced, game-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in publishing for video games or entertainment industries, including live service games, with at least 2 years of direct experience working with influencers and content creators.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic influencer marketing plans, activations, media buys and partnerships through paid, earned and owned channels to create and execute effective programs across various platforms to improve reach, engagement and acquisition efforts of a new launch title.
• Effectively collaborate with or manage Digital Extremes’ influencer marketing agencies in supporting campaigns, taking full advantage of their capabilities across building streaming programs, creative content development, event planning, gifting, reporting and more.
• Collaborate with the Digital Extremes Community Management team to help support the Community Creator Program. Integrate with Digital Extremes Community and Marketing stakeholders to ensure alignment and synergy across all relevant initiatives, while partnering with the Development team to become a game expert that effectively communicates their vision.
• Forecast outcomes, track performance, and report on established KPI’s and metrics to help inform consumer insights and how we can continue to improve campaign capabilities, effectiveness and efficiencies
• Support the day-to-day project management and execution of influencer marketing initiatives, track tasks, resources, and deadlines across various cross-functional groups primarily related to paid social, video, promotions and livestreams on channels such as YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, TikTok and similar.
• Explore ways to create new partnerships, innovative programs, leverage new channels and integrate new tools to improve performance of existing channels and to expand influencer marketing capabilities helping support multi-platform game releases including mobile.
• Attend consumer shows and industry events as an active and contributing member of the greater global influencer community to build and foster lasting relationships with creative partners across channels and nearly all markets.
• Contribute responsibly as an accountable member of the Marketing group which includes forecasting marketing budgets, accurately tracking, and reporting on program costs.
• Assist with central support tasks for Digital Extremes, while also maintaining project management tools such as JIRA, Google Docs, Confluence, Basecamp.

About the role

As the Associate Influencer Marketing Manager, you will play a key role in working with influencers and content creators across major online platforms (Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, etc.) to support global marketing and communication campaigns for Digital Extremes’ games, including Warframe and Soulframe.

ABOUT THE POSITION

With a Global focus, develop relationships with influencers and content creators, research and explore new and creative opportunities to work with them, and, where appropriate, partner with agencies and regional teams for global campaigns.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years in publishing for video games or entertainment industries, including live service games, with at least 2 years of direct experience working with influencers and content creators.
• Experience planning and executing Influencer Marketing programs, with AAA titles and live service games as a bonus.
• Strong understanding of marketing, communications, and influencer / content creator platforms (e.g., YouTube, Twitch).
• Creative skills to develop unique marketing programs and leverage analytics tools like Gamesight, Streamhatchet, or Sullygnome.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while working closely with cross-functional stakeholder groups, including marketing, development, and community teams.

PREFERRED EXTRAS

• Experience working with or managing agencies in the planning and execution of short and long-term marketing campaigns
• Understanding of live-service marketing strategies to engage and retain players
• Basic skill in Photoshop / Rush / OBS
• Basic skill with JIRA, Trello, Basecamp and Asana
