Position Overview

GRAIL is seeking an Associate GRAIL Galleri Consultant (aGGC) to join our sales team. The territory for this position is the Santa Barbara area. The aGGC is responsible for service and sales support activities to assist in driving market adoption and business growth. Core responsibilities include supporting the GRAIL Galleri Consultants (GGC) to increase revenue and drive market development through direct sales to individual physicians. Support efforts include cultivating and maintaining key relationships, and creating and supporting a strategic business plan to grow revenue quickly. Focus will be on currently marketed products and new product launches.

Responsibilities
  • Support the GRAIL Galleri Consultant (GGC) in increasing revenue and driving market development through direct sales to PCPs, OB/GYNs, and other relevant specialists.
  • Maintain key relationships, service ordering accounts, and develop strategic plans to grow revenue rapidly.
  • Focus on currently marketed products and new product launches.
  • Assist GGC with logistics, account servicing, and lead generation/qualification.
  • Support existing customers and assess the needs of medical professionals and staff, focusing on customer support and problem-solving.
  • Promote quality client/patient relations and serve as a role model for team members.
  • Maintain confidentiality of laboratory and financial information.
  • Adhere to all company policies, regulations, and compliance procedures, including participating in compliance training.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned within designated time frames.
  • Communicate effectively with GRAIL staff and customers to ensure quality service.
  • Support a service-oriented relationship with customers and utilize skills to promote excellent customer service.
  • Model and promote GRAIL’s core values, aiming for continuous improvement and excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Required travel: 60% - 70%.
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a BA; relevant advanced degree candidates may have no experience requirement.
  • Background in medical or biological sciences preferred.
  • Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales goals.
  • Award-winning sales professional with notable achievements.
  • Bright, flexible, self-motivated, results-oriented, with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
  • Must act with a sense of urgency.
  • Desire to work in a startup environment, capable of working independently.

Compensation and Benefits

The full-time annual base pay scale for this position is $91K-$107K, with actual pay based on skills, experience, and location. Additional benefits include a competitive sales incentive structure, free testing for employees and their families, pregnancy and baby bonding leave, 401(k) benefits, commuter benefits, and more. Eligibility for annual bonus and long-term incentive plans is based on performance.
