Job summary

RattleSnake Point Golf Club is seeking an Associate Superintendent to oversee daily golf course maintenance under the Golf Course Superintendent. This role leads turf care operations and helps develop the turf care team to sustain exceptional playing conditions.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on turf management experience, strong leadership, and a pro-active approach to maintenance, safety, and IPM compliance. This is a permanent, full-time position with opportunities within ClubLink.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years formal education, or a turf management diploma/degree.
• Available for work daily at discretionary hours.
• Possess a valid Ontario Landscape Exterminators Licence.

Responsibilities

• Recommend daily course conditions to the Superintendent.
• Work within ClubLink's team policy at management level.
• Enforce Golf Course Maintenance and Health & Safety policies.
• Assist with training staff on all machinery and safety procedures.
• Maintain buildings, equipment, and property professionally.
• Contribute to IPM-driven pesticide and fertilizer practices.
• Demonstrate knowledge of irrigation systems and controls.

RattleSnake Point Golf Club is Hiring an Associate Superintendent!

Reporting directly to the Golf Course Superintendent, the Associate Golf Course Superintendent plays a key leadership role in the day-to-day management and maintenance of the golf course. This position assists in planning, supervising, and executing all aspects of golf course maintenance while helping to lead and develop the turf care team.

The successful candidate will be passionate about turfgrass management, possess strong leadership skills, and have a hands‑on approach to maintaining exceptional playing conditions.

Daily Responsibilities

• Makes recommendations to the Superintendent on the daily condition of the golf course.
• Work within ClubLink's team policy both internally and at the management level.
• Practice and enforce all aspects of ClubLink's Golf Course Maintenance and Health & Safety Policy Manuals.
• Assist with help train staff on all machinery, including safety procedures.
• Maintain buildings, equipment, and property in a professional manner.
• Regularly and accurately contribute to Superintendent's pesticide and fertilizer management practices stressing IPM.
• Working knowledge of irrigation systems, automated controls, and repairs.

The Successful Applicant Will

• Possess a minimum of 2 years formal education, or degree or diploma in turf management preferred.
• Is available for work every day at discretionary hours.
• Approach responsibilities in an organized and energetic manner.
• Possess a valid Ontario Landscape Exterminators Licence.

This is a permanent full-time position.
