An established industry player is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst to join their dynamic FP&A team in Mississauga. JOB SUMMARY
The Associate Financial Analyst supports the FP&A team on month end close, financial reporting, and costing processes. As a part of a dynamic team, the individual in this role will have the opportunity to leverage his/her financial acumen to help drive business results.

Location: Mississauga, ON (Hybrid)
Reports to: Senior Manager, Finance – FP&A
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare monthly internal and corporate financial reports
• Consolidate financial statements for Medline Canada, Sinclair and Latam. Share WD5 Flash report.
• Identify inefficiencies and continue to improve the month end reporting process
• Participate in month end processes and responsible for reconciling close workbook
• Review price and cost variances and FX impact monthly
• Liaise with off-shore team to ensure deliverables on time and accurate
• Prepare weekly sales trends/updates for senior management
• Conduct monthly inventory costing analysis and manage cost updates
• Provide support in ERP project and help ensure a smooth transition
• Carry out ad-hoc reporting and miscellaneous projects
• Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
• Currently pursuing or completed CPA designation..
• 1-2 years of experience in Finance and Accounting
• Previous experience in financial reporting and consolidation a strong asset
• Collaborative, adaptable, strong business acumen and attention to detail
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency
• SAP experience an asset
