Job summary

CIBC is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to support a portfolio of mortgage clients from an on-site Banking Centre in Gibsons. The role focuses on understanding client needs and delivering personalized financial solutions, while expanding relationships through outreach and collaboration with experts.

The position emphasizes building trust, meeting sales targets, and using technology to enhance client service.

Qualifications

2–3 years of financial advice experience with clients and achieving sales targets.
Current Mutual Funds License or Canadian Securities Course required.
CFSA accreditation is a plus and may be preferred.

Responsibilities

Client engagement to understand personal and business priorities and provide a forward-looking financial plan.
Relationship building through marketing and outreach to grow networks and connect clients with the right partners.
Business development by networking with clients’ families and referrals for growth opportunities.
Leveraging technology to introduce clients to mobile banking apps and digital tools.
