This position reports into Sr. Manager - Marketing Finance and is based at Markham, Canada.

What you will do

The Associate Finance Manager, Marketing Finance is responsible for overseeing critical processes related to business planning, marketing plans, Brand investments, portfolio management, and new product launches:

Key Responsibilities

1. Identify growth opportunities, influence business partners and drive effective decision making.
2. Provide financial modelling for investment proposals and plans, including modelling scenarios for categories/brands, as well as provide recommendations and action plans.
3. Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders in Marketing and Finance team.
4. Partnering with Commercial teams to develop business cases.
5. Facilitating financial review meetings with multiple, cross-functional stakeholders.
6. Analyze financial viability of Marketing investments, GP improvements and ROI.
7. Provide recommendations to improve Category/Brand Profitability.
8. Be an active member of the Finance team and work closely alongside other team members to ensure accurate and robust P&L.
9. Lead and maintain a strong compliance environment and mindset.
10. Serve as a technical specialist and provide guidance to team members.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

1. 6-8 years of experience in finance and/or accounting.
2. University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in Marketing, Finance, or related field.
3. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
4. Results-oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Familiarity with Finance ERP system, preferably SAP.

1. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
2. Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team.
3. Strong attention to detail with exceptional planning and organizing abilities.
4. Self-motivated, independent, and proactive mindset.
5. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
6. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across the organization.
